My favorite Pub by far is the Rusty Gull, some of the best live music in the city and a wonderful friendly staff! Great music from Reggae on Sundays to the city's best open mic on Thursdays. It's great to hear a song on the radio by Stef Lang, walk into the Gull and there she is on stage, amazing! This bar really is "legendary".

It's been about 5 months since I was up in North Van working the Paralympic Games and finding "my bar" a half block away-The Rusty Gull. I absolutely miss it. The staff made me feel like a local even though I'm from Annapolis especially Rebecca. I had my first experience of Kokanee, and your great hamburgers & seafood club. I wish you all health, happiness and laughther. This is definitly a GREAT bar!!!!

I visited the Rusty Gull last Thursday and saw some great live music. The only thing better than the music was the beautiful Alana. She is absolutely stunning in person. Well worth the trip to the Rusty Gull.

Lynda and I were there for lunch and beers on about May 10 or 11. (Great lunch and beer) I asked for a picture of the lady that served us, and the young man behind the bar. It turned out VERY well. Yes David, The Rusty Gull Pub is the same one from the Spirit Of The West pub crawl song. Just about everyone in North Van has done the Spirit Pub Crawl, including the band themselves with all their gear! There is a Spirit of the West Pub Crawl going on Sat May 8th, but they happen all the time. From the Troller in Horseshoe Bay to the Raven in Deep Cove. The Rusty Gull is about half way so crawlers are pretty upbeat when they get to the Rusty Gull. The legendary Rusty Gull is by far, the best and most well established venue for Live Music on the North Shore, hands down.
